Feedtext, Inc. was founded in 2006 by mobile and internet industry veterans Vince Yamat,
Rickman (Eric) Nono and Ricky Sy with a focus of creating a truly visionary Web, Mobile
and Entertainment company. Their vision was to provide robust, feature-rich mobile
applications that leveraged the power of the internet with the ubiquity of the mobile
phone and are free to advertisers. By the end of 2006 they had deployed and tested
several well received mobile applications in the Philippines, a global hotbed of mobile
technology development and usage, including the powerful web based-text messaging tool,
SMSJOCK.
SMSJOCK is a free-to-advertisers mobile marketing solution that bundles many features
into one, plug and play product. It allows businesses of any size to leverage the low-cost,
high impact delivery of mobile marketing to enhance their business and marketing programs.
Headquartered in the San Francisco, CA, with development offices in Manila, PI,
Feedtext also offers other services such as chat, community applications, interactive
TV application and mobile entertainment storefronts. Feedtext currently has
strategic relationships with eight major wireless carriers to date, and plans to
deliver more web-based mobile solutions to satisfy the demands of the burgeoning
